9700 pro question...

how come when an app shows me what kind of card i have ( sandra, 3d mark, device manager... more ), they dont say 9700 pro?

in all of these apps, my card is labled "RADEON 9700/9500 SERIES", not 9700 PRO SERIES or something. is this just the way its displayed or what???

just wondering... tia
 
There's nothing wrong ... most software only reports the standard driver/card class. As long as your clock speeds and benchmarks come out where they should, you'll know everything is working fine. Try Futuremark's website or Rage3D for comparison scores.
