ok, ive been looking around for graphics cards, and stumbled across interesting info. On outpost.com they sell 9800 xtasy for 400 and 9700 all-in-wounder for 50 dolloars more. Now, i have heared that a 9700 is better in many pc mags, such as pc world, but ive seen for the benchmarks and the 9800 is a little bit better than a 9700. so which one is better? I dont understand y it would be cheaper than a 9700 if it out perfoms it.??

The 9800 is faster than the 9700 ... it is a newer version of the 9700 running at a higher clock speed and some improvements for the AA/AF processing capabilities. The reason the 9700 all-in-wonder is more expensitive is that the "all-in-wonders" with ATI have a built-in TV tuner for watching TV on your computer. That adds considerably to the cost of the card, hence the larger price on the older, slower card.
