The problem is your Radeon VE and your slow cpu. With your cpu it would of been better if you had purchased a Geforce2mx or Radeon LE instead because the Radeon VE has no t&amp;l engine. 3DMARK 2001 is really geared towards video cards with t&amp;l, your lack of t&amp;l explains your low score!

what? I thought all radeons had a t&l engine. Isn't thats where the Chrisma Engine comes into play?

Go here to compare your radeon with others. Clearly, they had 2D in mind when they made your card.

the radeon ve was made only for dual monitors. They crippled the card, removed T&amp;amp;L, and gave it a slower RAMDAC.
