Got mine today. It has 96 shaders according to GPU-Z.

The HSF is very quiet (but not silent) even under load. This is a great deal without the free game, smoking deal with the free game (assuming you get the rebate). The card is huge, though.

As for PSU requirements, I'm running an older Rosewill RV450S 'Value' 450W PSU, the original version with single 12V+ @ 22A. Other components are:

Athlon 64 X2 4400+ w/retail cooler (AM2)
4GB DDR2-800
320GB 7200RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s
16x DVD+/-RW
Onboard audio and LAN
USB KB and MS
1 x 80mm case fan
Vista 32-bit SP2

ZZF has it for just $46.99 with free shipping. Currently OOS, but so was newegg until a day or two ago. Same $20 MIR available. I think I will order my next one from ZZF to get the free shipping. The once I got from newegg is working great! Still a bargain at $62 shipped, even better if I get the $18 card rebate. (I donated $2 for express handling of the rebate, should get it within a week or two. We will see)

Ya, if that comes back in stock....HOTTNESS

FWIW, I got mine and it's working with a (fairly generic) In Win 350W power supply (25A combined on 12V1,2 if I recall correctly). The rest of the system is comprised of low-power components, though.

I think that it requires 26 amps on the +12v rail.

I managed to get 3 of the PNY 768MB model, the last 2 for $40 apiece. Great cards for the price, but I don't know if I'd want a 384MB model.

It would be interesting to see if it needs any more than 384. Probably not. I ordered one to sli with my evga 9600gso... plus I wanted the game. Between the 2 cards, I have 70.00 invested. Should be pretty fast for the $.

Well, I did get one of these to run with my evga 9600gso in sli. The problem is that my case is a smallish mid-tower and with the tv tuner card, 3 HD's and a bunch of other stuff, I really can't fit 2 of these in there. Plus they both take up 2 slots... I guess I can ebay it or maybe both of them and get a single card that is about as fast.
The other option is to move everything to my empty Rocketfish (Lian Li) full tower case but that thing is huge and won't fit very well under my desk. Any suggestions? I don't think I can get anywhere near the speed of 2 9600gso's in one card for the 70.00 I have invested in them.

Just a quick question:

When checking out, the combined game + card discount makes the card $5, and the game $50. Does it show up correctly on the invoice, or will it somehow adversely affect the rebate?

Is this card capable of playing games at 1680x1050?? I'd be pairing it with an e2160 and 4gig ram.... I currently run a 7900GS...

Thanks!!!

Edited.

I owned two of these in sli, and only received one of the 35 MIRs from ASUS. Also, i prefered the performance of my GTX260 OC on a 22" monitor compared to these in sli. I was mainly playing crysis & fear2 on a 780i.

Looks like the free game offer is dead.

Nope it is still getting added to the cart when you look at it.
