960 MHz??? AMD x2 3800+

Turn off "Cool n' Quiet" in your BIOS. It automatically lowers your multiplier when your cpu is at idle. Try loading a game or an application and it should go all the way back to 10X multiplier. If it doesn't, it means you set your multiplier in your bios to 4x, change it to 10x.

Edit: According to your cpuz screenshot, it seems you have changed your multiplier to 4x, go to your bios and change it back to 10x. Also, change your memory command rate to 1T.

it depends how high of a ram divider you have it set at.....if your ram frequency is at 160, it means you have underclocked it... try checking your cpuz again for your ram frequency after changing the multiplier back to 10x

btw, i think you should read up on some overclocking guides and also, REMEMBER to test your cpu and ram stability using two instances of prime95 for the cpu and memtest86 for your ram
