would i see much diff between this one and my lite on 512gb?

"Real world" performance, not so much. It's not as dramatic as the difference from moving from a HDD to a SSD, but after having a NVMe drive in my main PC for a year now, I can tell the difference on things like virus scans, program installs, and it just makes it a little "peppier" when I click on things like browser tabs and such.

For someone like you who just recently moved to a SSD for the first time, my personal recommendation would be to skip moving to a NVMe drive right now, and do it maybe in a few years where the OS and programs really take advantage of the speed.

We're not there yet on SSD pricing, but it is definitely a lot better now than it was last year. You can get a quality 1TB for $259 like the Crucial MX500, but I think prices should continue to drop throughout the year. Maybe by the end of 2018, we'll see some 1TB models on sale around $200 again.

Well, we've seen 480GB models of 3D NAND (3D TLC) on sale for ~$100. (Team Group L5 Lite 3D.)
