I had the Omega 3.7s running fine under WindowsXP. Then I installed the 3.8s not too long after they came out. They worked fine at the beginning with no problems. Then after a while, occasionally when I boot up, my monitor would lose its driver setting. If I go to display properties, it would just say "Default Monitor" instead of Syncmaster 753DF and my refresh rate would be at 60hz..
Usually, I'd reboot and it would fix itself. Now about 3 hours ago, it did it again and rebooting didn't work. So I finally decided to uninstall the 3.8s and installed the beta Omega drivers available on the site. It didn't work so I reverted back to the 3.7s.
Even though in my Display Properties it says I'm running at 85Hz (which is the top rate my monitor can handle at 1024x768)... it looks as if it was running at 60Hz.... you can tell because its a bit flashy and not as clear. Some black lines have popped up too.. especially around during bootup.
So now I'm stuck here.... and I'm not sure what to do. Oh and yeah.. I used Driver Cleaner2 after uninstalling the drivers...
any ideas?
