9500 Pro

Hi

Forgive my ignorance on the many aspects of video cards. I recently bought a 9500 pro here in the FS/FT forum and proceeded to replace my other video card. In the boot-up screens, where the memory is tested and then tells you what drives are detected, I get random red/blue/multicolor lines all over the screen and some of the text is garbled. I go into the bios and notice that all of the screens are garbled as well. When I log into windows 2000, the screen looks normal with none of the anomalies exhibited during boot-up. It hasn't given me a problem in windows, and so it seems this is not a big deal. Anyone have an idea why this is happening? I have my machine specs below.

AMD 2100+ (not OCed yet)
Corsair Valueram 512MB PC2700 (not OCed yet)
ECS L7S7A2 bios 03/13/03 (probably need to look for an update on this)
WD 80Gb
CDRW
ANTEC SL350
ATI 9500 PRO (not OCed yet)

Thanks
Rod
