9500 Pro Issues

I just installed my new 9500 pro card and everythings working fine, except for this annoying glitch in seemingly every single FPS. Whenever I seem to pan the screen, it looks as though the graphics are tearing, so to speak. I think it's called clipping, but I'm not positive. I know it's a software issue, because in one game I was able to type a certain code which made the problem stop. Every seems to think it's VSync, but that's on application preference (only other option besides off). My refresh rate is also around 75-85khz so that isn't the problem either.

I had this problem with my GTS as well. If you could help me out I'd be grateful.

The problem most likely is V-Sync. Application preference doesn't mean it's on, it means that it has to be set inside the game. If the game doesn't have the setting option, then it'll most likely default to off.

Try installing a few of the different control panels (not the drivers, just the control panels) until you find one with a V-sync "Off, Application Preference, and On" slider. I think the control panel for the Cat 2.5s or Cat 3.0s may have it, but I'm not sure. Changing the control panel doesn't change the driver, so you can run the Cat 3.1 drivers with the Cat 2.5 or 3.0 control panel.
