9500 PRO BIOS Version

Is there any way to tell what type of Bios your card is using. I own a Sapphire Radeon 9500 PRO OEM card and it is overclockable without my having to flash the bios. I have heard that some Sapphire cards where in fact able to overclock without any mods but I would like to find out if my card may have been flashed with a mod bios and returned to the store before being repacked and sold to me. Here is the info the ATI 3.4 drivers give me on my Bios version:

BIOS Version 8.004
BIOS Part Number 113-A05602-102
BIOS Date 2002/12/13

Under Adapter info in the display properties it says this:

RADEON 9700 PRO

Adapter String: RADEON 9700 PRO
Bios Information: BK-ATI VER008.004.008.004

Can anyone help me out?😕

I think your suspicions are correct. I have an ATI 9500 Pro that is locked in the bios. When I flash the bios to unlock it, the device type changes to 9700 pro.
