Its best to let the police handle this man....you don't need to go get yourself in trouble too. Im sure I would be thinking the same as you though, wanting to track them down and beat the crap out of them or something more...

I would want them hurt too, but the police are the ones to do the hurting. Let them do their job. if they don't, hire a PI. But keep yourself out of harms way.

If you were actually able to find this individual, you'd probably kill him with your current state of mind (I would too).
They'll surely catch him, and he's likely to get a lot of time in jail. At least he'll get a beating in return :/
Before you do anything, just calm down and relax. I would be just as angry as you are but you can't make rational decisions that way. Letting the police do their job is the best way to handle it.
The cops ain't gonna touch 'em. Honestly, what do you think the judge will give them? What penalty would you personally give them? This scum ought to rot in jail for decades. :|
They will most likely get charged with aggrevated assault (or assault and battery). That'll keep them in jail for a while.

So how would your Mom feel after all this, realizing she should be thankful no real harm was done, only to find out her son was in jail for doing something stupid? You should think about the fact that she would rather be beaten than for that to happen. Yeah you are angry, but relax. Be happy they are safe.
