Yes they are the same,they even use the same bios,i have flashed my Chaintech board with a BFG bios and back without any problems. Chaintech makes the boards for BFG that's a fact.

I posted a similar thread a couple of months back looking for an nforce4 board...while the poll is not as comprehensive as yours, I did limit the choices to those boards that have emerged at the top of the heap on a number of hardware review websites.

The poll is not nearly as important as many of the user comments I received.

No kidding SLI are nForce4, but they are a DIFFERENT BREED of nForce4. This poll was just your regular entry nforce4 boards.

And by the way that was mentioned in the post, that this was for NON-SLI boards. We can do a SLI poll later if anyone likes.

Or I should say, instead of saying what does not make the list, what specs qualify to make the list?

What is a "regular entry nforce4 board" based on? Low end?

For example, although not included, the Jetway A210GDMS-Pro board I just picked up at Newegg for $55 has plenty of adjustments in bios, and I am able to hit 3GHz with Opteron 146. That is an overclock of 1GHz. Doesn't make the list though because it does all of this while still able to use onboard graphics (x300), and onboard graphics are not allowed in list.

Well, my personal favorite is the MSI Neo4 Platinum, because I like the onboard RAID 5 at a pretty cheap price and don't need huge overclocks like on the DFI.

I ran a similar poll around 6 months ago, although granted it wasn't as comprehensive as this list. Not surprisingly, the results of my poll mirrored this one.

However, on my poll, the clear winners that bubbled to the top for nforce4 were:
DFI LANPARTY UT NF4-D
EPOX EP-9NPA+ULTRA
Asus A8N-E
MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum

These always seem to emerge as the four favorites, and always in this order.
