Not a good day at work!! :|:|:|

My box died on me, and I have it narrowed down to the mobo/memory...so I switch boxes. Only thing is, the box I switch to has a corrupt install of XP on it - so I grab an XP disc and try to install, right? Wrong, everytime it tries to reboot during setup - it hangs. What about formatting the drive and installing from scratch? I can't even get the stupid system to boot off of a CD or even boot up in DOS... I've been through 5 other junk systems, just installing the HD so I can at least try to format it, and all of them either don't boot right or have Redhat installed... :|

It's 1:40 and I haven't gotten an ounce of work done...cause my comp is dead

edit, more :|:|:| faces

You're having a bad day? YOU'RE having a bad day? I just went through a 73 minute call with a customer. He never should have gotten to Tier2, but needed lots of troubleshooting and ended up stumping EVERYBODY here at my call center (which is rated #1 on the AT&T call center stats).

:disgust:

I'm taking my lunch break early. :frown:

my computer died this week also. I'm using a 233 mhz clunker right now.

ehh, even w/o my computer, life goes on. . .

gotta love those callers who have "unsolvable" problems, I've been there before :disgust:

however, my $hitty day isn't limited to work 🙁
