That's what cops and other public servants deal with every day. It's only funny because you didn't have to take the call 😀
 
As a person that works in the healthcare field, I have to put up with this kind of BS when they show up to the ER or wherever.
 
That guys an asshole and doesn't deserve ANY medical attention. Maybe i'm a dick, but let the fucking scum die. Piece of shit.
 
Operator is a little slow too. The old guy said he lived in a townhouse several times and she kept asking for his apartment number.
 
Once he gave his address and asked for medical attention, why didn't she send the damn paramedics? And he kept telling her he wasn't in an apartment and she kept asking for his apartment number. How stupid are these operators?

How stupid/slow are you two? The operator FIRST asked if he was in a certain apartment complex, which he CONFIRMED and then refused to give her the apartment number. When he said he was in a townhouse, she asked again to confirm if he was in that specific apartment complex and he confirmed it ONCE AGAIN and yet continued refusing to give her an apartment number. He was entirely at faullt for giving conflicting information.

And here I thought MY comprehension was bad... Lord, help you if you guys ever become operators.

Do you live on his street? I heard nothing conflicting in his information. It's perfectly normal for there to be townhouses in an "apartment complex".

Looks to me like it could be a townhouse, but there is no street view and at the maximum zoom things still aren't clear. It certainly isn't a multilevel apartment building, and if the cops came to the address there wouldn't be more than a couple possibilities.

The operator was needlessly giving the guy a hard time.
 
I would have been tempted to make his head hurt a little more I think. It is great how people treat those trying to help them and still expect/demand care.

If "townhouse" doesn't conflict with his earlier statement that it was in an apartment complex, then it isn't an answer to her question either, mutha' fuka'

If each apartment had their own street number, he should have said so rather than giving the operator an answer that seemingly conflicts (and certainly doesn't "answer"), forcing her to backpedal and ask both questions again.

That said, I've seen "townhouse" used to describe communal living in a single large house-like structure where each tenant has their own quarters but a shared congregation area, kitchen, etc. Granted, that is not what these are nor what the caller intended. He likely used the definition I see on Wikipedia (basically, an apartment layout... as if that was relevant :roll🙂.
