Arrest Made After Brutal Beating Of 91-Yr.-Old Caught On Tape

It's the kind of story that makes you wonder just how low some criminals can go. This one proves it's reached new depths. A 22-year-old man is under arrest in Detroit, after a 91-year-old World War II veteran was repeatedly punched and beaten as he came out to get his car.

Equally shocking is the number of people who witnessed the incident - nearly all of them stood around watching but no one intervened. The crime took place last Friday and it didn't take long for cops to come up with a suspect. Deontae Bradley and an accused accomplice were both in court on Monday.

Watch the video on the link to see this vicious beating and when it gets near the end it pans out and you see a bunch of pathetic cowards just standing around and watching.

I am not sure what I find more disturbing the piece of filth beating the old man or the number of chickenshit losers that are standing around doing nothing to help the old man while he is getting the hell beat out of him.

Just because you'll absolutely do the same, don't assume everybody will! The culprits are targeting the old and the weak because with concealed weapons permit allowed in the State, they're scared to try the young, strong and armed!

Ugh, just what we need...another gun nut willing to exploit whatever tragedy he comes across to make the case for guns. But it's pretty obvious, the problem isn't a lack of guns, it's a lack of courage and selflesness. When it comes to situations like this, gun owners are just as useless as the average person...nobody is willing to risk their neck for someone else anymore (if it was ever the case). Owning a cheap piece of metal put together by some minimum wage assembly line clown doesn't suddenly make you a good person.

Yes, people ignorant of psychology always are surprised by this and then are almost certain to do the same thing (i.e. nothing). Cases like this are well documented; people generally do nothing and the larger the crowd, the less likely anybody is going to be to intervene. It's known as bystander syndrome.

Not true, not everyone is like that I have in fact intervened on several occasions, one when there was a large crowd and a guy was beating on a woman and no one else was doing anything about it. Once in front of a Walgreens when a father was excessively beating his child, Once in a three guys on one guy fight, and others.

In every case Im mentioned there were indeed people standing around doing nothing. People have to learn to man up instead of cowering out, we were given the ability to make a fist and there are times we should not be afraid to use it.

Good luck with that. Every sign seems to indicate that America is becoming the Home of the P*ssy... and not just in your every-day fight on the streets. I won't bring this post OT and list some of the "signs" I am referring to, but I'm sure some of you know exactly what I'm getting at.

The days of "taking the gloves off" and "taking care of business" are long gone. Very few people possess genuine courage, and even fewer are willing to let those with courage do what needs to be done.

Yeah that video is brutal, that old man was getting ROCKED. I think i would have helped. I stopped a man fighting a woman in Camp Snoopy video arcade when i was working there in 97. Also stopped some thugs from picking on a kid on the bus. Also beat the hell out of a drunk skin head for slapping a woman. But remember this is a criminal in action, in this case you would have to knock him over the head with something really huge and swift.

Sounds like you are trying to justify your own cowardess, you would not do it because your to scared therefore no one would am I right?

I have and will again if the need arises it is a matter of conscious for me, if I walk away from stuff like that it would eat me up inside. So I would much rather take the sting of a few punches than feel the torture of guilt for not.

who is crying? I already have mine - which, btw, I have never fired in anger while carrying it in the US. The muggers out there seem to be smart enough to avoid the guy with the large gun hanging off his belt.

And I've met very few "real men and women" outside of the armed forces, law enforcement agencies, and fire departments. Most civilians resemble the p*ssies who stood around and watched this poor old man get beat.
