Do they fix the annoying (but harmless) "SLI Multi GPU disabled" popup on single card systems that is in the 91.31's ?

It does that on my AGP system.....wtf.

Alright. Since the 91.31 driver. There have been a half a dozen drivers released.

You have the 91.31, 91.33, 91.36, 91.37, 91.45, and 91.47.

Give these a shot (XG 91.47)
(they come with modded inf)

If not those then the XG 91.45's are tried and true good drivers.

Hmmm, didn't know that. I nabbed the '33 drivers on the 22nd, I think, because I ordered a 7900GS. I'm running the '47s from guru3d and haven't CTD'd yet!

Yeah, ever since they added SLI enable/disable support in Windows (a good feature!), a side problem is that on single-GPU systems the "SLI disabled" warning comes up. Apparently, this even happens on AGP systems!

Fix one thing, break another...

What's the big change from 8x.xx to 9x.xx? I've had nothing but problems with the new drivers.

I think support for Quad Sli is one of them, the other is the new interface (ala CCC from ATI).

I don't have issues tough - except for the SLI disabled warning, which was solved with version 91.45.

i hear ya, its so lame, i get da same thing. even w/ pci-e, does nvidia really think a pop-up window is just gonna make me walk out and drop $200+ on an extra card?!?

I'm still into the WHQL 8x.x series because of nvidias pathetic driver politics. Maybe the next WHQL driver doesnt break two things while fixing one. So much for superior drivers on the green side...

Popup solution:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\MediaCenterTray]
"NvCplDisableBalloonNotifications"=dword:00000001

It's been fixed since 91.33.
Since then AFAIK all these drivers have the fix:
91.36, 91.37, 91.45, 91.47

The 91.33 driver was crap. Best curretn driver is the 91.47 and the XG really makes it shine.

ouch man, i'm still using those...no issues for me, but i'll guess i'll give the XG 91.47 a try.

I had no problems with the 91.33s but I always use Driver Cleaner, now using official Nvidia 91.47s,so far no problems to report.

If only Toshiba would update their drivers for my P105 so I could run these on my 7900GS, they (toshiba) only have 84.00s for it 🙁

I'm not saying it wasn't stable or bad, I'm just sayint that the smothness/IQ of the driver compared to others at the time (such as 91.31) just wasn't as good.
