That's an amazing case, and one day it'll be my art deco masterpiece; or not... Just another project waiting to be done :^/

Lol that would make an awesome sleeper PC, especially with all the stickers. Put in a quad socket motherboard with 4 thread rippers or something. 😀 I don't even know if that's possible.

My first IBM PC was a Packard Bell that I bought in Caldor probably around 1992 or so. It was a 486 25mhz with 4MB RAM. The motherboard croaked out when I added a sound card and it was still under warranty. They sent a repairman to my house to fix it and he replaced the motherboard with a 33mhz model with 8MB RAM. That was a huge upgrade at the time, I was stoked.

Oh baby don't you just love that sexy 3.5" floppy?

I'm calling it - that shit will one-day become art.

For the longest time I had to have a floppy drive for the sole purpose of loading RAID drivers if I recall correctly...

If you didn't love formatting a computer you have no business here in this forum

Fuck yeah.

I still did all the way through XP and even a bit with Windows 7. After moving to 10 I haven't seen a reason to though. I know how to detect the fake pr0n trojans now 😀

I used to make custom install discs that would do everything unattended - and on first boot it would run a command prompt that would install and register all the programs I wanted.

That forum I used to love is still around today: https://msfn.org/board/forum/70-unattended-windows-2000xp2003/

It's got no intakes, likely just a single case fan exhausting out the back, or possibly even worse, just the CPU fan with no other active cooling at all.
Would have to add some air vents and fans to keep modern hardware cool, but, it would no longer be very stealthy.

Perhaps adding some kind of laptop grade mobo + CPU + GPU setup with a modern low power midrange components would work without too heavily modding it? add intakes to the bottom maybe, make it look vanilla? make the bottom half of the case into a water reservoir, and then use water cooling maybe? I dunno for sure.

Some kind of water cooled set up going out the back? Maybe?
Seal the whole case to be water tight and fill the insides with mineral oil?

Win 3.11 was the last stable release. I can see why they stuck with it.

Have some Javascript!

Of the songs from that list I know, I did not have any of the lyrics wrong 😎

I'm forced to assume this is sarcasm.
