90nm core
Which proc. would be better to overclock to FX-55 speeds? (2.6ghz) I understand that it is more stable to overclock a 3500+ and it is also possible to get the 3500+ to 2.8ghz. So all in all, which proc. is better to overclock based on stability, heat and headroom for overclockability?
Also which components would I need in order to overclock it. So far my computer parts are as follows, although I haven't ordered any of them:
AMD 64 90nm 3200+ or 3500+
XP-90 with Panaflo 92mm and AS5
MSI K8N Neo 2 platinum
OCZ 3200 EL Platinum Edition Revision 2
Geforce 6800GT (Planning to overclock it to ultra speeds) with NV Silencer 5
74gb Raptor (74gb is enough room for me)
Audigy 2 Platinum
Antec 1080AMG Plus with 430W TruePower PSU

In order to overclock either proc(including the overclocked 6800gt), would the XP-90 and 430W PSU be suffice, or would I require "better" parts. Would I need anymore case fans besides the stock 2 rear and 1 side 80mm case fans that the Antec case comes with? Lastly, what kind of noise level can I expect from the computer with all these parts and is there anything I could do to lower it if it is unbearble? Thanks for any input!

I don't know about 2.8 GHZ. That seems a bit high. I have my 3500 90nm stable at 2.64 which is fine for me rightnow. My RAM is also at 1T and 2-2-2-5 timings. Get a big PS. I got a good deal on the ANtec 550
