90Min/800MB CD-rs

Hey guys,

Regarding the topic, does anyone know where to get 90Min/800MB CD-Rs that doesn't cost an arm an a leg? I've checked with pricewatch and came up with http://www.yesbuy.net/ but they charge ridiculous shipping prices. Anyone know where else to get these babies? Thanks! 🙂

how well do these 90 & 99 minute cdrs work
do they work in all burners, cd-roms and cd players (assuming i know they work with normal cdrs)

edit- they would sure be nice, i like to archive my divx movies. lots of them are just over 700 MB

haven't tried them out yet but I've read a lil about 'em
Apparently you need to have a burner and software (eg. nero 5.x) which supports overburning. I've got a link about that somewhere but i can't remember it right now 😱
yeah I'm keen on getting those CD-Rs mainly for the purpose of burning divx movies too 😉

Last I heard these are troublesome on many machines. Just as the 80 minute discs causes a few problems, these are causing problems. The "groove" that it writes is even smaller than 80 minute discs meaning some players wont be able to use them. If your player doesn't like 80 minute discs, forget these. I'd buy one or two to test with. Make sure they will work on the players you need them to work on.

As for cheap prices....I don't think there are cheap prices right now. Still relatively few places are selling them (meaning you can't walk into KMart and buy them most likely).
