Well, duh, what do you expect with your settings? You think people get those insanely high 16K+ 3DMarks with FSAA and Anis on?

nick1985 and Thor86, you both missed the point and the big smiley. 9013 is a very high score for 6x FSAA and 16 AF with high quality mip maps.

" Just sit back, relax, and have a cold, creamy glass of Guinness "

Ack- are you trying to poison me?! You should try some barley wines, and give up the sour, weak stuff.....;)

LOL- I suppose beer taste is pretty subjective, just never liked Guinness.

Try Horn Dog by the Flying Dog Brewery, Denver, Colorado. $7.59 for 4 12oz bottles here. Tastes great, more filling!

well, Guinness is a bitter beer, since it is fairly hoppy and is made with toasted barley, so i just automatically assumed that anyone who could mistake bitter for sour was EVIL ;). all the barleywines in Cincinnati seem to be very expensive, but the lambics aren't that steep, for some reason.

lol, who could have imagined that giving a 3DMARK score would end up as a discussion about alcohol....:D
I'm a beer drinker too, but still think its damn comical where the topic ended at....:D

I don't know, the finish of Guinness just makes me cringe. If I'm going to drink weak beer, I want it to taste good. (most bocks, Heineken Dark, etc.)

My favorites are: Horn Dog, Old Nick, Old Foghorn. McEwans Scotch has a place in my heart(liver) as well.

Yep, time for a new card. I'm hitting 1868 with my ultra powerfull TNT2Ultra and my Athlon XP 1700+. Too think, that was a top notch card when I first got it (Just upgraded the CPU from a Classic Athlon 700MHz about a week ago. The mobo was dying piece by piece.) Last me over 3 years though.

according to Guinness, it's made with toasted barley. i'm assuming they know how to make their own product. burning barley wouldn't be a very good way to do it, as it wouldn't be consistant batch to batch.

i think Guinness tastes very good, but stout is my favorite beer type. i'm also a fan of dark beers such as Weihenstephaner Duenkel and i like Bocks, but i also like light pilsners like Pilsner Urquell and i have a fondess for pale ale and bitter. lambics and barleywines are also delicious. actually, i pretty much like all quality brews.

I can appreciate the abv of the lambics, but the fruity "champagne-esque" flavor isn't my favorite.

Ever had a Miller Light? ;)

Bass can almost smooth out the burnt peat taste of Guinness, those are pretty good. I'm having a Leinenkugels Original as a thirst quencher, Horn Dog Barley Wines tonight. Cheers!
