I have a 350Watt power supply of decent heritage and am looking at upgrading the fan from one 90, and one 80 to just one 120mm fan.

th current PSU has a fan (90) that sucks in air from the case and one on the PSU reaer that blows the PSU air outside the PSU...

I have replaced the 90mm with a antec smart fan that is contolled by a fan bus and a tempature sensor...the max i have seen the temps on the PSU HS is 43C...

what i am thinking of doing is pull the 90 and replace it with a 120 and replace the cover with a 120 UV cover...I would have to lose the 80MM back fan, but i don't see that as a real issue as the 120 will suck in air form the case and then the air will move out the back through a simple grill....thi would ake the cooling very similr to a one of the newer quiet PSU (fortano, fortus, or something)....i would cntrol just the one 120 fan there and would have a wider range of cooling

A couple questions:

- do you see any immediate issues?
- any suggestions on a decent 120mm fan that may also be UV reactive?
- or should i just bite the UV part and just get a potenially very quiet/high quality quality black fan? i guess if i had my choice i would get a pabst or panalo if in UV, but i suspect i won't be able to find one.

I think that would work great. There is really no need for two fans.
I don't know much about UV fans. The Enermax adjustable may be a nice one to use because unlike panaflos its the standard 25mm thickness. Plus its a good quiet fan.
