You're a UPS package handler? Ever load up a truck that smelled like urine?

nope i wished i worked @ UPS. Actually have an active application with ups freight right now. Hopefully this pulls through.

I worked at both FedEx and UPS as a package handler. They're both horrible, but their tuition reimbursement just completely makes up for it. If you include tuition and pay, it's like 15 bucks an hour (at least in FedEx and the first 6 months).

Just hope when they hire you, they don't put you in the busiest belt. To many new employees, it's very discouraging and makes you not want to work there.

Great. UPs just called me back asking if im still intrested after my interview last week. i have a drug test tomorrow for ups freight. Thats 10.50 an hours with 32+ hours a week. Im so happy =] yahhhh. i can quit my grocery store job asap with a 2 week notice that is.

If it's a Suzuki, it's NOT a jeep...

When ya gonna get a REAL job? 😉

Exactly. It's only a Jeep when the CEL comes on every other day and you just unplug the battery, wait 30 seconds, the plug it back up to turn it off...

Jeez, $90? Thats barely enough for dinner.

My GF makes about 60 a week there. im one of the lucky part timers to make 90 and sometimes 240 a week. You can see why im getting out of there. My next check will be $119 which is not much again.

Im so glad ups called me back =]

At least you'll be making a lot more than before. $336/wk is at least something substantial for a part time gig.

If you get tired of lugging heavy packages you can look into delivering pizzas. I'm doing that part time myself now and average about $13/hr when you include tips. Just basically driving around listening to music in my car while delivering pizzas 32 hours a week. Easy stuff.

man... i can't believe this was what i was making 5 years ago. don't worry dude. don't do hard drugs or alcoholic and you should be able to find your way to a better job
