Seizure

Didn't see this posted. so here it is. Taken from our friendly bargain tech site.

"Circut City has 30 spindles of TDK CDR's 80 min, on sale for $24.99 - $20 MIR=$4.99. Target has the same ones in their ad today for $9.99. This is a difference of $15 + $1.50 CC low price guarantee, which should net cost you at CC $8.49+tax. Then there is a $20 MIR, and you can get a total of 3 of these per address.

90 TDK 80 minute CDR's $24.50 Profit in your pocket once rebate comes (less any taxes and postage you paid"

What are you talking about? CC LPG only matches 100% and they may not do it because, according to the terms, their price includes a MIR while the Target price does not making the LPG void because it's not the same kind of offer.

There is a pretty good chance they'll do it, but don't go crying and bitching if they don't because it's stated in their terms and conditions of the LPG.

BTW, your links expired.

it's staples price protection policy that explicitly states they will not price match if staples offers a rebate that results in a lower price.

what cc's policy actually means is that they will not match another stores after rebate price.

you should re-read the policy, as said above you misunderstand it.

CC's price matching policy changed April 1 this year. It mentions you cannot stack offers so you cannot combine another store's lower price with their mail-in rebate offer unless the other store offers the same rebate as well.

I ordered 3 packs of the cdrs online on Sunday, went to the Boynton Beach store, they only had 1 of the 3 and did not want to price match, claimed the Target cdrs were not the "same" product, one was 16x and one was 12x. After almost half an hour and they did not even have the 3 packs, I had them void the order and I called corporate today (you cannot complain on Sunday anymore on the 800 number). They got the store customer service manager on the phone and he stated that they were not the same. I told them I would go to Target and pickup a pack and bring them to the store.

No wonder their stock is so low and their sales are also low. Bad customer service.
