Way too much anger, this child has.

Still, very impressive. I just can't help feeling she may not be all that sociable. But if I were her dad, I'd have no worries.

dipshit parents, you're not supposed to let your kids play with nunchucks.

and someone bigger than her is just going to punch her in the top of the head. karate is fail.

You kinda miss the point. Obviously she's not going to get recruited by the fucking SAS, point is, she has acquired a skill and discipline which is going to help her the rest of her life. Not to mention being better able to fend off all sorts of people, now she isn't invulnerable no, but better able to.

Don't forget the constant boost to her self-esteem.

I know of many dojos that would be hesitent to grant the rank of black belt to a young child. The rank is about experience and wisdom as much as it is about physical skills. Fewer and fewer dojos are teaching life philosophy these days though which is why you have such a young child being granted this rank.

It appears from the video that the child is very skilled though and I am impressed by her abilities.

cool, but most 'forms' students don't really do well sparring.

We had a lot of kids like this around when I was taking martial arts. Almost all the pay for belt systems grant black belts to children and have no sparring requirements.

49.88... I guess they also noticed how she fumbled on the high kick after the flip.

EDIT:

Yeah where is the sparring video though?

It looks like this was merely a recording of her going for a weapons award, so it was only a display of weapons prowess.
