I don't know shit about Boston except that it's home to Dropkick Murphys, which places it head and shoulders above most American cities in my view. DKM FTW.

You just lost whatever cool points you may have had.

Drop Kick Murphys make the most retarted music ever created. Every song is the same, and every song is annoying as shit.

My only experience with Boston was one dude who moved down here and was a complete dick, so I can't really judge the city. I can say, however, that the Boston accent is the most horrible accent in all of English. Worse than Ebonics and Redneck even.

I haven't been particularly impressed with northerners in general. They tend to be self centered, and have a superiority complex without the chops to back it up.

Also, Dropkick Murphys rock

Fortunately, the Boston accent is pretty isolated to certain areas of the city.

LA seems nice except it looks like a flat wasteland outside of the city.

no, trust me, the photo makes it look nicer than it really is in 90% of it

No one hates Boston. If you could just get rid of Bostonians & their retarded accent, it'd be a wonderful place.

except most people in boston do not have that accent. it purely an accent from South boston, and it's dying fast.

1) Nobody calls it Bean town. Except out of staters.
2) America's best drivers - 'cuz no one dies generally
3) Charles river is still nasty.

Best drivers? Well . . . maybe. You have to be pretty skilled when every sign you need to see is strategically placed behind a bush (or some other obstacle) and none of the roads are marked. Not to mention your reflexes have to be fast as hell to avoid hitting the dumbass pedestrians as they walk into moving traffic without even a millisecond of thought as to the danger. They're like GD lemmings.

Seriously. I used to drive from Cambridge into the Financial Center area of Boston 5 days a week to pick up my wife. I'm pretty sure that every time I reached my wife's office, I sent a little "thank you" to the big man upstairs for not hitting one of the idiots who walked in front of my car.

...No one hates Philly, per se. Most people are just too scared to go there.

I'll go on record as hating Philly. I literally despise that town. If it weren't for the cheesesteaks and the occasional Phillies game, I see absolutely no reason to visit that craphole.

For some reason, people have this mentality that if I hit them, they can just sue me. That may very well be true, but if I hit you, you could also be dead or spend the rest of your days in a wheel chair.....I do not think that part really dawns on them.

Boston drivers are total assholes but they are predictable.

They are assholes, but that's just because they have evolved to survive in a harsh climate. Boston roads are designed for horses.

But yes, they are predictable. The Mass plate pretty much lets me know whats going to happen.

Just like a Quebec plate lets me know they are drunk.

That's just your built in inferiority complex to northerners at work.

New Orleaner's are the exception though, they are way too preoccupied with partying and kicking back to give two shits about where you're from.

note: nothing contradicting the absolute fact that it's packed to the brim with douches ;)

I've been to Boston, NY, Baltimore, and Philly. I've disliked Philly and Boston the most among the east cities. I've never seen such a concentration of assholes and douches. It also seems they're proud to be complete dicks. I'll never visit those cities ever again. Especially Philly. I may give Boston one more chance, but Phuk Philly.

/anger!!!!

I have been to Boston 5 weeks over the last 2 years and I love it, I have not found the people to be bad at all. If you are friendly they are just as friendly.
