Having "beta" on the first page they complain about makes them look a little silly though.

I gave my father a over sized pocket knife like Arnold Schwarzenegger has there, and unless he sharpened it you couldn't cut butter with the damn thing. I thought that was funny, not stupid.

I suppose it's sheer coincidence you have a quote from Conan the Barbarian in your sig, eh?

Yeah, most of that list was fairly lame. Hell, they didn't even mention Ted Stevens referring to the internet as a series of tubes. That's way better than Arnold Schwarzenegger wielding a giant knife (which, let's face it, we all expect him to do).

this was pretty funny

A now-defunct GOP "Obama Card" page let you pretend to spend money like the president. One of the books for offer was "The Jews and Their Lies."

Number 10:

http://hartfordadvocate.com/article.cfm?aid=15188

"Twitter shuts down 33 fake accounts created by state Republicans in an attempt to lambast Dems"

So Facebook shut down 33 fake accounts set up by the state GOP to impersonate state Dems and make outlandish claims. The GOP response to having their fake accounts closed?

"That's unfortunate," was state Republican Chairman Chris Healy's response when told of Twitter, Inc.'s decision. "I'm not quite sure what the issue is, other than that the Democrats were successful in stopping free speech."

Classy. Also, I think Mr. Healy needs to take a Civics 101 class on what "free speech" means.

But what about claims that voters might be turned off by such tactics?

Healy: "I really don't care what a bunch of college professors from liberal colleges think."

That old gem!

In addition to being a totally inept public spokesman, Chris Healy is leading the charge here in CT to remake the state GOP along the national model-intolerant and authoritarian. This flies in the face of most CT GOP members, and is an affront to the founding principals of the GOP. And it's not working-only about 20% of CT voters are registered Republicans and that is dropping fast.

Those Republicans are so damn stupid. I've never in my life met a smart one and I live in the South. They should have outsourced their technology stuff to the Democrats because they are alot smarter. They never make mistakes on their websites.

We need a thread on stupid things Democrats say now. But truth be told, Republicans wouldnt have made these comments if it werent for Al Gore inventing the damn internet. He started it, his fuck up ;)

I was wondering how someones bad margarita recipe is an internet fail.

But as far is the "The internet is a serious of tubes" statement, from what I heard it sounded like he was trying to make an analogy about the overload of internet traffic and comparing it to tubes being filled, not that the internet is a series of tubes. Anyone have a link to the entire quote, not just the snippet the left is using?

Even as a partisan democrat, I can't regard this initial slip up as a blanket indictment of the GOP. So what, one GOP person in charge slipped up and hired some incompetent to design a web page.

Twitter having to shut down 33 fake accounts is a more serious ethic charge, and yes that person(s) should have their hide nailed to as many barn doors as the hide will stretch.

"The Jews and Their Lies"- Written by Martin Luther.
http://www.amazon.com/Jews-The...n-Luther/dp/1593640242

It's a historical document written in the 1500s that is sold in hundreds of books stores across the country. The site probably bought a search engine that searched through an archive that included the book.

Lame article/thread.
