9/80 schedule at work.. Have the option???

My company has a 9/80 shedule at work. 9 hours a day 80 hours per pay period, every other Friday off.

Great schedule.. it's thursday, but it's my friday. let the drinking begin!

9 hours a day, 80 hours a week.. you have longer weeks there than we do in south carolina.

9 hours a day mon-thurs, 8 hours on the working friday, and every other friday off..

i used to work m-f from 7-3 but only an hour every other day. i would only work an hour on m,w,f, one week and the next i would only work an hour t,th. Was really nice. Now i work m-f, 7-3 no early day except about one friday a month i get out at 10:30

I work 3/12's. 3 days a week, 12 hours a day.

When I graduate - 80+/week with 30 hour shifts every 3 days.

I worked like that one summer, except I had every other Monday off. It wasn't worth it, though. For that one day off a week so I could get stuff done, I'd get home so late that

a) traffic would be so bad it'd add an extra 45 minutes to my commute
b) I'd be so tired I didn't feel like doing anything when I did get home and
c) even if I did feel like doing anything, it was so late that there really wasn't that much time to get anything done.

But to each his own.

My true schedule is 6:30 AM to 4M M-Th and 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Every other Friday. I get all my personal daytime stuff done on my Friday off. And drink alot every other Thursday (oh wait... is is Thursday....)
