I agree, I've wanted this game for awhile and it really should be at the $15 price point at 50% off. I have no idea why it is still $50. It's a shame cause if the base game was $15 I'd probably buy it and the expansion right now.

Looks like Steam just added 2 different indie bundles.

The strategy bundle is full of win, I own each of those games and have enjoyed each quite a bit. The 2D bundle is nice too, World of Goo is great and NyxQuest was enjoyable though short. Nightsky looks neat

I own Defense Grid, RoTT and Sol Survivor. I paid full price minus any pre-order discounts.

Each one of those three games is worth in excess of $9.99 on it's own.

This pack is just unmissable.

Hmm I bought Two Worlds for that price during the Summer sale, but haven't had time to play it yet. I'll probably hold off on the expansion until Thanksgiving or Christmas when it will most likely be 50% off along with the game.

Not that I've played the actual game yet. 🙁

That sounds like the better deal this week, really. Haven't heard a single good thing about the Two Worlds games. I already have Defense Grid and Revenge, will I be able to gift those to someone else if I buy the whole pack?

It's doubtful but I'm sure that Steam would tell you before you press any 'I agree to hand my credit card over to Steam' point.

You usually do not get to gift items out of packs even if you already own them. If you already own an item from a pack, Steam will warn you before you purchase it.

EDIT:

Note, I'm pretty certain that said warning is just a line of text on the Shopping Cart page.

Bought Two Worlds II in the summer sale @ 75% off. While not as good as the first game it's still a good game in it's own right.

The expansion is listed as DLC here and is almost twice the price of TWII, yikes...

depends on how steam is feeling today I suppose

I hate it when I already own one or more games in the packs. Makes it much less compelling to buy.

Right.

In my case, I had Sanctum and Revenge of the Titans on my wishlist, so even though I already owned Defense Grid, it was a no-brainer for me.

Two Worlds 2 is a pretty good game. Worth a play for fans of RPG's

The price of the expansion is pretty ridiculous though.

the strategy pack is amazing at that price.

Defense Grid, alone, is worth at least $15 (in teh world of steam pricing. 🙂)

Both indie packs are a good deal, but I already own 4 of 5 of the 'world of goo' one.

(Already have two worlds 1 and 2 too, both unplayed).

I decided to say "Fuck it" and buy Two Worlds II. I've yet to play either of the games in the series yet. Although I hear the original Two Worlds is a mediocre "B-grade" RPG (and the sequel to a slightly lesser extent), you can tell they seriously ramped up the quality on TWII, and I'd say it looks like a fun, beautiful world to step into. Also the developers are apparently quite dedicated to their work. They've spent a lot of time fixing up and patching the game since release, so I figure what the heck, I'll give it a go.

Got it by myself (didn't think many peeps would be interested.

It's a mix between Alien Shooter gameplay with humour and awkward weapons handling.

I haven't played alien shooter but that game doesn't have the greatest reviews. Is it fun co-op?

Hope it's good. I did the same months ago, haven't played it yet. Still have Risen to play, too... yeesh. Oh ya, and Draconis Divinity II....
