I'm surprised that no one else posted anything about this so let me be the first. This thread is for those who scored free tickets or are going out of town to commemorate the 9/11 attacks; to make it clear that nothing can force us to cower in a corner. This thread will help us domestic tourists of major cities like new york, orlando, chicago, etc.

NEW YORK:
For one, those going to New York should also check out good fake watches in Canal St. and the exotic chinese food in Chinatown (you'll never see some of their food anywhere else). Other sights to see are:

-9/11 ceremony (one day only)
-Empire State Building
-Statue of Liberty
-Carnegie Hall
-Ground Zero (WTC)
-Wall Street
-NYPD, FDNY
-Central Park
-any other suggestions?

Also check out New York's official tourism site: http://www.nycvisit.com/home/

my friend was in NYC today, and he said it was mobbed with people. More than normal.

One thing he pointed out was a kid that passed by him. Middle eastern race, and had a shirt that has I____NY. Fill in the blank with a grenade.

Lovely isnt it.
