what would happen if you bid on this, and just didn't pay?

make up some fake account and make him get stuck with the rather large ending fees....

I think you have to be verified to place large bids such as this.

Beside the fact that it is sad that he is trying to make money off this it is quite informative and it is in chronological order afterall.

I dunno after looking at it again it looks more like he's trying to get publicity for those urls instead of actually selling them. He has zero feedback and her handle is 911memories. It is quite possible that he is just trying to show tribute on a day of remembrance. Is anyone actually gonna spend 1.3 million? also notice he didn't say how to contact him for payment. More likely than not he is not trying to make money off this, if he is then screw him.

Make some bids, then don't pay and leave a neg. Ebay won't care and the seller is still out of the 3 dollar listing fee.
