3 deg F right now, but with the wind chill but the "real feel" aka wind chill is -21 deg F. We have sustained winds of 30mph with gusts into the 40's right now. It is snowing and blowing.

is that -9C or -9F?

If it's F, then that's cold, wear long pants, shorts aren't good.
If it's C, then you can still wear your shorts, but it's close to the threshhold.

Down to maybe 15 below is OK with no wind, but if it's anywhere below zero with wind that's a bit nippy.

Got a buddy in OKC posting pics of the winter wasteland around his house on facebook. And last week he was bragging about being in the 70's. :D

That's how it was here(KS). Friday and Saturday were in the high 60's. Today is effin' cold(-21 with wind chill). Already got 2ft drifts around my car at work.

Its the windchill that gets me. I slept outside in a snowbank in ~15 F weather once. I made myself a little hole in the snow. (For those who don't know snow is actually a really good insulator so sleeping in it is wonderful)

:) Just set it as my desktop background for a couple days at school. Is that along one of the Great Lakes? I wonder how long you'd have to let your car warm up to get the ice off it?

You have to get into the car first. Time for the blow torch.

It was a high of 20F here but we have 20-30mph wind all day. Our low early this morning was 6F and with wind chill it was about -10F.

All of this for maybe an inch of snow. At least I got to work from home today.

We have a really strong front coming through. It was 66F in Slidell, LA but 28F in Shreveport, LA. Absurd. They're calling for the possibility of snow here on the gulf coast.
