8x AGP question

Do you need a 8x AGP slot to get the full bandwidth with the Ti 4200??? Cause on the card Specs it says that it has a bandwidth of up to 8 GB.

That 8GB/sec bandwith is between the oncard memory and the GPU, no you dont, it doesnt even support 8X. You wouldnt even notice a big difference between 2X and 4X.

No, you are talking about two different things. AGP 8X is the newest AGP specification for the next generation of video cards, like the Radeon 9700. The bandwith that is listed in the specs is the available memory bandwith on your card. You will get the full bandwith when using your card in an AGP 4X slot. 🙂

Edit: D'oh, Dulanic beat me to it. 🙂
