8rda+ SW ide drivers ok?

do the epox 8rda+ SW ide drivers have any issues with winxp? I remember a few revisions ago they had some issues. but now 3.13 is ok.

i sure would like to know if thats what everybody is using now or if they keep with the WinXP drivers and skip that part of the nForce driver installation...

I had problems with all versions of the nVidia IDE drivers with my 8RDA+. I simply ran the Microsoft driver. However, I haven't tried the latest nVidia IDE driver on the 8RDA+, which works fine with my NF7-S. The NF7-S had problems with previous nVidia IDE drivers just like the 8RDA+. So maybe try the latest; they come separately, or at least did at first.

Been running the v4.12 IDE drivers with all four of my nForce2 based boards since it got released. Haven't had a problem yet. Performance is up (very) slightly and I do like the "HDTach"-like built-in benchmark utility under the properties of Device Manager.

Brian48 -----> cool! thanks.. ive been using them for about 1 week now and no trouble either... although it sounds like my drives are being accessed more when im not doing anything on the pc, but performance wise it seems fine... i couldnt find that built in benchmark utility... where exactly is it?

wow... thanks for posting a screenshot!! mine is different.. it doesnt have it and it doesnt say ver. 2.5

i wonder whats up with that? id be curious to see the driver tab on that page...
