8RDA+ C1 error with two sticks of Ram

Everytime I place both sticks of Samsung Original pc3200 into the board I get the C1 error code. Both sticks passed memtest when tested individually, so it's not the memory. Any suggestions?
I just finished flashing the latest bios 3507. When you unzip the bios you get two bin files 3507.bin and 6a61bpaa.bin, what's up with the latter?

That second .bin file is strange. It's not pertinent to your system so don't bother trying to use it.

For the record, I didn't have that file in my .zip file...

that is the bios update program..
@ the A prompt type UPDATE and it will flash bios!
boot with 1 stick and set memory to expert 100%, timings 7332.5 save and exit @ post up shut down and put the other stick in and you should be good to go!

Marmaduke, what your saying is that the 6a61bpaa.bin is just the bios update program? If so, than no biggie as I already have the latest bios.
The last two bioses that I flashed did not update two rectangles (they stayed green rather than turning white), is this consistent with everyone else?
I had played around with the timings previous to making this post, and I just tried your suggestion of expert 100%, 7332.5, still getting the C1 error. :|

If you haven't tried it already, try setting CAS to 3.0 since most Samsung Original PC3200 is CL3.

I don't think I tried that because I was able to memtest it at 6332.5 @208mhz...just tried it...nope.

Next thing I'd try is bumping the memory voltage to 2.77V.

Maybe the board can't handle two sticks that fast. Try clocking the memory down to 266 see if it works. Then try 333 and 400 after

I just tried clocking the memory down to 266 @8443...nope. Stock memory voltage is 2.77.

Do you have a pretty good power supply? One DIMM can theoretically draw up to 15W, according to none other than Micron.

I've tried them in the 3 possible combinations (2 with dual support and the one without). I have the antec true 430watt power supply.

Problem is the Ram passes memtest with flying colors when tested individually...so I don't see how it can be the ram. Is everyone else getting the two green blocks when doing the bios update?

I did with mine, yes. Wish I had some more suggestions on how to fix the no-boot situation

have you tried the ram in the non-dual ddr setup? i.e. slots 2 & 3. dual ddr doesn't seem to work well in my setup above certain speeds, but in slots 2 and 3 are very stable.

Well I just finished jamming in a 512 stick of crucial alongside my Samsung set at ddr333 and got as far as the reply button to update my progress when the comp restarted. Not a biggie...the crucial is rated 266. I reset the bios values to 266 8443 and...nope...C1.
I've also tested it with some samsung oem pc2700 512 sticks I have lying around...didn't work with them either (I had them set to 333 8443 when I tested them).
The initial crucial response gives me hope though. What was the result for the folks with corsair ram prior to the bios fix?

After a flurry of swapping ram in and out, it appeared that maybe I wasn't seating the second stick of ram properly because on two occasions it actually got past the C1 error code. So I played around with the two sticks of Samsung pc3200 untill it got past the C1 code. Then just as I was typing my response I got this:

So I reboot without touching the sticks of Ram and lo and behold...C1.

I don't know if this is related, or I was the victim of a bad flash, but I am having the same problem after flashing my BIOS last night with the 3507 BIOS for my 8RDA+...

I am using one stick of Corsair XMS 3200C2, and after what I thought was a succesful BIOS flash, rebooted and got the C1 on the LED, and can't boot any further... I don't have any other DDR to swap it out with, so at this point I am not sure what the problem is....

After you get both sticks put in. Try resetting the cmos then go in the bios and set your timings.
This is what epox recommends trying
Memory Frequency = 100%
Memory Timing = Expert
T(RAS) = 7
T(RCD) = 3
T(RP) = 3
CAS Latency = 2.5

I tried downgrading the bios to 3129...still nothing.
I tried resetting the cmos after I stuck the other stick in...but of course...it's gets stuck on C1.

C1 is memory not found or something like that right? I think the board is messed up. Doing an internet search finds people with problems when trying to use 2 sticks.
