8ms response time LCD's?

I noticed that Sony is coming out with a new LCD that has a 8ms response time.

This is the fastest response time I've seen. Are there any other LCD's with 8ms response times? Is 8ms going to be a lot better then 12ms as far as gaming goes?
 
im pretty sure that there is one other 8ms response time LCD and i dont think there will be that big of difference between 12 and 8 the biggest difference i think is between 25 and 16
 
I have 12ms and I notice no ghosting.

However I am not impressed with the LCD technology as a whole. The poor blacks especially, as well as manufacturing defects like dead pixels and backlight leakage. Just not acceptable for the amount you pay for a unit. It's kinda stupid when you think about it. Meh, I'll ride it out I do enjoy the increased clarity of text and such. But I won't be very hesitant to step into a new OLED or iFire screen when they become reasonibly priced and proven.
