Does anyone know what sensors on the 8k7a relate to where on the motherboard? Motherboard monitor shows 3 on mine, VIA-686B-1, VIA-686B-2, and VIA-686B-3. I am pretty sure that the -2 is the cpu temp as it is always higher than the other two. I am kind of confused as to what the other two are though. Right now I am getting 23C on -1, 30C on -2, and 21C on -3.
Also, while I am asking stuff, does anyone know a good range that CPU temps should run in? my cpu temps have been anywhere from 30C to 43C, with the ambient temp only changing about 2-3C. I thought the difference between idling and full load was supposed to be about 4-5C. I am running a 1.2 T-Bird and have kind of been hesitant to overclock because of the big differences in temps. By the way, I have a Alpha 8045 with an 80mm Panaflo.
