8k3a+,xp pro, system restore

i cannot create a system restore point, when i first noiticed it yesterday i thought that one of my programs had made it so that i couldnt do so, since then i have reinstalled windows about 5 times with nothing else installed and still cannot create a restore point. i am using the raid controller on the card also.

i guess what my question is there a known problem with this mobo or the raid controller and xp pro restore capabilities.

ps, i have a topic going over in the operating systems forum if you want to see what i have done so far.
 
I hate to tell you but I have an 8K3A+ and use System Restore all the time both manually and automatically. I use RAID 0. No problems - I've never actually restored, but, I get no errors when creating the points.
