8IRXP bios f2 anyone?

i probably am but I want to see if the f2 bios works for something.

and there is suppose to be a bios update that fixes the problem, then the board will own them all

Why don't you like the GA-8IRXP? Since I can't seem to get the Asus board I want, and I've read that the MSI 845 board doesn't OC very well, I've seriously considered the Gigabyte.

It still is the best non overclocking board you can get.

I just want the f2 bios cause I believe that will get rid of the cold restart issue, but it seems everyone has gone to the f3 or higher

Ok, I just read on Xbit Labratories that Intel should be announcing the Pentium 4M on March 6. I assume this will be the 533 Mhz FSB processor. I also assume that Intel chipsets that support the CPU will be announced too. If all of this is the case, how soon should I expect to see motherboards from Asus, Abit, Gigabyte, MSI and others? Will then be announced soon afterward? Gigabyte seems to be the first out of the gate with many chipsets lately. Should I wait and see, or should I go ahead with a motherboard/cpu purchase?

P4m is the mobile P4 for a laptop so thats wrong

Man, looks like that BIOS has been wiped off the face of the planet. I don't see it anywhere. Everybody is listing F3 as the oldest.

Looks like you are gonna be stuck searching for somebody who backed it up when they flashed theirs in the first place.

Perhaps you should try some newsgroups.
