This drive is U3 ready, so you can run all sorts of apps, apparently, from right off it. Its also supposed to be Windows Boost ready, so it can speed-up your Vista. I am about to try that out... Wonder if anyone has had tried that and worked for them?

Bought the same unit yesterday at Office Depot for same price - tax but no shipping, so $31.75 out the door. Also available at that price at Staples. (Both of these are sale prices - I don't know how long the sale lasts or if it is national, this is in south FL)...

My point was that this is not really a hot deal. You can do a Google search on the part number and get several hits for similar or cheaper price. You are right about ecost shipping being high and I didn't check it. Here's one shipped for $34.30.

Sorry about that but I think they are essentially the same except for the appearance. They are easy enough to find though.
