8GB out of 12GB recognized

I recently build new PC with 6GB of RAM. Corsair (3x2) 1333MHz. It was recognized with no problems.

Today I was able to pickup additional 3 sticks of the same memory to double the amount to 12GB.

When I install the memory to my Asus P6T motherboard (BIOS 0202) it will only recognize 8GB.

I tried searching around but I can't seems to find any useful information.

I will really appreciate any useful input on this.

Thank you.

p.s. CPUZ does show all 6 sticks and 12GB of RAM but BIOS and Windows only shows 8GB

I thought I put my PC specs:
i7 920
Asus P6T
XFX 9800GT
Corsair 12GB DDR3 (6x2)
Corsair 620W Modular
WD 300GB VeloRaptor
WD 2x640GB Black SATA
WD 2x320GB Blue SATA
WD 250GB Caviar SATA
Samsung 22x DVD-RW LS
Antec Three Hundred
Vista Ultimate 64bit

First of all, I want to thank everybody who showed interest in my tread.

Well it was one of those human errors. When I opened the case I saw one of the memory sticks wasn't fully inserted Duh!!!

It's all good now. 12GB it is!

Thanks all again.

Have you done any OCing on your rig?

How far can you get with the 6x2 GB?

No, no OC yet. Really at this point I don't see the need. The PC flying as it is. I might try something out in a near future. If I do I'll let you know.
