8GB (2x4GB) 1600 Ripjaws X @Newegg for $29.99 No Rebate

Yeah, excellent deal for DDR3 1600, I would too if I hadn't already stocked up on RAM deals over the past few months. Whatever you call something that's cheaper than dirt cheap, that's what DDR3 prices are right now.

I thought for sure they were gonna be 1.75V

Darn, gotta walk away... I just spent the same amount of money on RAM I'm using thats only 1333

Hoping my cash will be useful for something else on Monday

Snagged 2 sets I don't need simply because 16gb for $59.98 is a hardcore steal.

Many thanks for the heads up, but I fully plan to blame you if the wife catches me!

Wow......i don't even have any need for this!!

...........but i bought 2 kits anyways...16GB for $59? Oh yeah 🙂

lol, i found this deal browsing around newegg, and decided i couldn't pass up doubling my ram to 16GB for $30. then i decided to come check hot deals and this is at the top XD!

For once I'm glad that deal is not available in Canada... I already have a set of Corsair XMS 8GB kit sitting here....

Can you mix 2x2GB with 2x4GB on the same motherboard? The reason I'm asking is that
they limit the purchase to 5, 2 x 4GB, but I have 3 pc's that I'd like to upgrade.

I have G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
already installed, but would like to add G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin
DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800).

The motherboard is a MSI 890GXM-G65 AM3 AMD 890GX HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro
ATX AMD Motherboard https://secure.newegg.com/NewMyAcco...l=true&RandomID=77329762513918820111116124337
with an AMD 1055T.

Yeah, I use a mix of 2 x 2GB and 2 x 1GB on a 785-based board. 4GB operates in dual-channel mode, the remaining 2GB operates in single-channel, is how it ends up getting handled. Go for it!

Does anyone know if these fall into the lower profile to fit gigantic-mega-metal-heatsinkzillas? Otherwise I may wait for the sniper series to hit around $30ish pref low voltage too! I'm sad I didn't order the snipers a month back when they were $30ish for the 1.15v 1600 8gb kits lol.

I have the non-x ones and have a CM 212+ installed on a MSI z68a-gd65 and cannot use last memory slot unless I slide fan up some (about 3 mm) and the non-x omes appears to shorting heatsink than the x ones..
