Has anyone ever owned or worked on an 89 z24? i just got this thing as a project and the heater is stuck on heater and won't switch to defrost and it's -30c outside. i ripped the control out and the vacuum lines look fine behind it, but i can't for the life of me find where the darn vacuum lines come through the firewall. does anyone know if there is a heater control vacuum modulator in the engine compartment or if there is just a cluster to fan out to individual vacuum lines, and if so where it's located? can't find the bloody thing anywhere! 🙁
 
Probably a cracked L or T fitting on the line, my 95 firebird had a similar issue. a chiltons or haynes manual would be a good help to you.
