Any of you remember this? http://www.legitreviews.com/article/417/1/

I recently bought a BFG 8800GTX from someone on another forum. After mentioning to a fellow gamer on Ventrilo that it has a black PCB, he brought this to my attention.

I do not have a magnifying glass. However, my regular glasses magnify when I hold them a certain distance from things. I have looked and looked and looked, and I SWEAR my resister says "26C" on it. I just can't find where anyone else has said that, so I'm wondering if I'm just imagining.

I have triple checked, and I'm looking in exactly the right place. It says 26C. I have studied the pics in the link I posted above, and can't see how I could have mistaken either 40C or 68C for "26C".

Have any of you heard of anyone who has a "26C" resistor? Is it completely impossible, and I'm just missing something??

Seems to me that if you don't have a 68C resistor, you're in good shape. So what is actually the problem?

Seams to me like a case of, If it isn't broke then don't fix it.

Are you actually experiencing any issues with your card? If not don't worry about it.

It makes a rather noticable electronic buzzing noise when rendering 3D apps. I thought it might have something to do with the bad resistor?

I noticed a high Hz buzzing sound after I put in my 8800GT and asked if others had similar problems. It is rather annoying but I wasn't able to completely isolate the sound to the GT. I haven't heard it as much lately but I'll see if it keeps recurring.
