it's 10.0; supposedly the new 9xxx series will support 10.1. amd's current hd38xx series supports 10.1. i'm not sure if there's a real world difference b/t the two specifications.
 
10.1 is supposed to officially allow AA with deferred shading, but I think that can be already be forced on with current Nvidia cards.

The only real world differences between DX9 and DX10 specs are:

1) AA with deferred shading
2) AA with HDR
3) DX10 is slower (right now)


In terms of what you see in the game visually, there is no difference in terms of what is rendered. Not in current titles anyway.

It can, as I've done it in both Gears of War and STALKER.
