8800gt driver problem

I just got Crysis; all is good but at random times that game freezes and Crysis crashes. It says my display driver has stopped working and has recovered. This has happened to me at other random times. Is there a better driver (or updated driver) for vista that fixes this problem?

Thanks a lot and happy holidays~!

Try uninstalling driver, cleaning up, downloading latest drivers from nV website and installing them.

Also, what are your other components?
cpu/ram/psu/mobo

and what was your previous card on this operating system install, if any?

There's a new nForce beta driver 169.28

Reports so far are that it is pretty stable, and gives a good boost in Crysis. I haven't tried it because when I installed it, it only saw one monitor, so I went back to 169.25.
