8800gs w/4 gig flash drive 130 AR

I picked one up this morning....there is a 5 buck rebate on the flash drive too taking it down to 125AR with Free Shipping. I'm selling the flash drive for 25 bucks, so I'll be left with the 8800GS for around 100. This is replacing a x1900GT.

I own this card and yes the fan is very loud, unbearable for me. So factor in after market cooling if you are sensitive to noise.

Done.

Perfect deal for me. Was waiting for something to drop well below 150 (except the 3850/256m). I don't NEED to have rezes over 12x10. Eye candy isn't super important. And I'm cheap. NO GTXes or XTXs for me - an XL, an XT, a GT and now a GS. Oh yeah, my 1gig flash drive is always at 800mb or more and the new 4gb one that's free BEFORE rebate is JUST the thing to push me over. Both shipped free... nice.

I liked the commentary from one of the reviewers (Catamount):

Other Thoughts: As with any Geforce 8800, make sure you couple this with a fast CPU, a C2D or one of AMD's new Phenom CPUs. I have another system with a Geforce 8800GTS running an Athlon 64 FX57, and despite have the better video card versus this one, it can't break 6000 in 3dmark06. Bottom line, if you're going to bother owning a Geforce 8800, don't bottleneck yourself with an older system.

The card can now be had for $119.99 after $30 MIR and free shipping. No flash drive deal but still warm/hotish nonetheless.
