I got this card in November and have been very happy with it. I have noticed something that I think is odd though and can't figure out what it is causing it. I have the Godfather game installed and noticed that when the game welcome screen comes up there is now a strange display of of colors and line grids that wasn't there before. Then it goes to the main menu of the game with normal colors. It's as if the adapter is acting up. The rest of game graphics are fine after the strange welcome screen.

I noticed this after I upgraded the adapter the last time. Thinking it was the adapter I went back to the previous driver and got the same result. I then reinstalled the game as I had never seen this in the game before. I have changed resolutions and get the same result. Should I just attribute this to a quirk in this game even though it didn't so this before?

Sincerely,
Hans

For best results, I suggest you uninstall the drivers, run drivercleanerpro (google) and clean Nvidia drivers when in safe mode. Install the drivers in normal windows.

Doubt that it is a hardware issue -- should be the drivers.

I went and got it and it says you need .Net Framework 2.0 or higher so I installed that and when I went to install driver Cleaner Pro it tells me .Net Runtime Library 2.0 is not installed and is required. Is this another program I have to install now or did I install the wrong one? In my add/remove programs it refers to the program as "Microsoft .Net Compact Framework 2.0." Is the "compact" part leaving out something I need?

Thanks,
Hans

Tried Driver Cleaner and re-installed the latest driver and got the same result. It must be a quirk in this game although it didn't do it before. The in-game graphics are fine and so are all my other games. I have no clue what this is and I think I'll chalk it up to one of those unexplained deals.
