Your Pentium processor could bottleneck it, but you play such a low resolution and games that aren't that demanding, so you should be fine even if it does.

Bottelneck it? That pentium D will castrate the damn thing, esp. at such a low res. But it's not like you really are gonna give a hoot about the difference of 100 fps and 200fps, lol. Get the card and game... you will like it! I'm sure you be able to use lots of AA and AF with no performance penalty

If you're only going to play those two games, I suggest you get a 8800GT/9800GT instead. You will get bottlenecked by your Pentium D until you overclock that processor, or raise the resolution, which I don't think you'd do. Or, as lava said, you can always get the 8800GTX/9800GTX+ and put the settings to the highest.

Pentium D 805 processors should easily hit 3.2Ghz. Try it and see what happens.

At that resolution, I'd get a 9600GT even 9600GSO. Unless you're getting the 8800GTX really cheap, I wouldn't bother.

Yep, that's pretty cheap.

See if your cpu will overclock, if it's the D805 it should easily bump up in speed, if you can get fsb to 166 you'll be sitting at 3.32GHz and it will be able to push that GTX better.
