Hi, I have owned the Asus 8800 gt 512mb (stock) in my sig for a month. It has played games great, except for a few artifacts in games I have attributed to crappy drivers.

Yesterday, I was playing Titans Quest Immortal Throne, and everything hitched. The graphics went all weird for a minute, then once I alt-tabbed the game continued to run. When I exited the game, I got the "NV4 Display driver infinite loop error". My whole display pixelated and shifted down to 640 x 480. Once I rebooted, everything seemed fine. I installed new drivers from Asus's website last night, after uninstalling old ones and using driver sweeper and driver cleaner pro. When I started Titans Quest today, within a minute I got a BSOD. I restarted, and the game crashed again.

Does this sound like a driver issue? I am planning on doing a whole new format and reinstall. The cards temp never goes over 64c, cpu 56c. I am scared to even play games. Does anyone have some similiar experience with this? Google turns up comments about the NV4 loop error, but I can't find anything conclusive or helpful at all. Is there a specific driver I should use?

I am currently using 169.21 drivers for 8800 GT, newest P5b Mobo drivers, DirectX 9c fully updated, windows fully updated. I tried reinstalling all drivers over again.

If anyone can give advice it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
