Bought a 87 bronco a couple months back. Soon the brakes went completely out I replaced everything even front calipers and rear drum. Ran fine for awhile then the emergency brake stuck on and broke the rear shoes on both sides so I warrentied them in and even had to change out the adjusters and some other hardware in there as they got eat up real bad. So with it all new I adjusted down so drum don't get so hot but I continue to get no brakes from the drums. Could this be the automatic adjusters out or is it something else I am missing. Also the "rear abs" light is always on.

Did you install a new hardware kit for the drums (spring, hold down, etc...) and also did you verfy it was installed correctly. I have seen many do their drum brakes and still bring it to my shop when they did not work right. Most of the time the springs were put on wrong, adjuster was not adjusted properly, or parking cable system was locked/damaged.
